Treat yourselves to a relaxing one night break for two with a three-course dinner and breakfast at Hallmark Hotel The Queen, Chester, and top it off with a Classic Wine Tasting with Veeno at The Italian Wine Café.
Located perfectly for you to explore the city, your hotel has played host to the likes of Charles Dickens and Cecil Rhodes, and offers a comfortable standard room for you to unwind in. In the evening, you can both enjoy a delicious three-course dinner, and following a restful night’s sleep, a full English or continental breakfast.
During your stay, indulge in a truly Mediterranean wine-tasting with a selection of award-winning wines coupled with authentic Italian appetisers. You’ll start with an introduction and the history of Veeno before getting down to the business of tasting wines direct from the vineyard and snacking on some delicious spuntini (appetisers). Informal yet informative, you’ll have time to relax across two whites and three reds, finishing up with a sweet dessert wine and homemade tiramisu to leave you feeling properly Italiano when it’s time to head home.

- Minimum age: 18 years
- Please note the experience content, equipment used, and restrictions may vary.
- Veeno has disability access to the premises.
- The Hallmark Hotel overnight stay is available Sunday to Thursday, subject to availability. Please be aware that during weekends and summer months, the availability may be limited.
- The Veeno experience is available seven days a week. Excluded dates may apply.
- Please allow approximately 2 hours for the classic wine tasting.
- We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
- Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of purchase and cannot be extended. Please ensure you book and take the experience before this date.
- Your hotel stay will be for one night. Check-in will be after 15.00 and departure is by 11.00 the next morning.
- Please do not book your transportation until you have confirmed your date of visit because the experience is subject to availability.
- Cancellation Policy: Experience vouchers can be cancelled with a full refund if cancelled within 30 days of purchase. Experience vouchers are non-refundable after 30 days of purchase and 100% cancellation charges will apply. Please note: A refund cannot be given for a Voucher that has been partially used.
