Get ready for a fear- and fun-filled adventure this Halloween that you’ll never forget

Halloween is quickly approaching and things are getting scarier by the day at PortAventura World! There are pumpkins, skeletons and spiders everywhere you turn in PortAventura Park, and that’s just the beginning of the frightfully good fun that’s in store now through November 12th. 

No matter if you want scares that will send a chill down your spine or spooky spectaculars that will take your breath away, they’ve got it all. 

 

Petrifying Passages 

Ready for the ultimate scare? There are a number of Halloween passages throughout the park that will take you on a truly fearsome adventure, with entry available to purchase in advance or on the day. Access is available per passage, or you can buy a Halloween Passport to experience as much of the horror as possible! 

This year’s Halloween passages are: 

  • La Isla Maldita - A terrifying storm has been unleashed in Caribe Aquatic Park, awakening the ghostliest pirates 
  • La Muerta Viva - Discover why Mexicans celebrate the Day of the Dead
  • Apocalipsis Maya - When a team of explorers in search of treasure break into a Mayan temple, they unleash its curse and provoke the wrath of the gods 
  • Horror in Texas - Get ready to turn up the decibel level in the darkest passage in the park 
  • REC® Experience - Live through a unique experience and the most terrifying moments from the famous REC® series of horror films

Spine-chilling Scare Zone 

NEW for 2023 is La Maldición del Emperador, a scare zone that will have you discovering the most terrifying legend of the Chinese Empire. The story goes that long ago an emperor was betrayed by members of his court, and his spirit continues to seek revenge to this day. 

As night falls, brave a visit to the China area of the park where the emperor and his loyal guards patrol, ready to welcome you into the fold… or else his curse will fall upon you too! 

 

Eerie Entertainment

If you’re looking for a slightly less scary Halloween experience, there’s entertainment around every corner at PortAventura, from parades to stunt shows. Whether you’re 5 or 50 there’s something for everyone to enjoy! 

This year’s entertainment offering includes: 

  • Halloween Parade - As the sun goes down on PortAventura Park, Halloween characters come out to play! Line the streets to catch a glimpse of Betty Boop, The Addams Family, Woody Woodpecker and all kinds of spooky Halloween performers. All the action will then end with a dance finale on Teatro Principal! 
  • Horror en el Lago - At the end of the night gather around the Mediterrania Lake to see the waters come to life with dark skeletons and blood-curdling creatures amid music, fire, water jets and pyrotechnics.
  • Halloween Factory - Head to the Gran Teatro Imperial for a stage show full of singing, dancing and crazy acrobatics! There are multiple shows throughout the afternoon, but showtimes may vary so check the app on the day of your visit!
  • Bang Bang Halloween - Vampires have arrived in the Far West! Can the city of Penitence be saved by a band of brave acrobatic defenders? Find out in this frightfully fun show for the whole family. 
  • Ya es Halloween en SesamoAventura - There’s silly, spooky fun for the little ones too! Join The Count and all his Sesame Street friends at this Halloween dance party!

If you need a bite to eat, why not stop by one of these restaurants for a bit of extra entertainment: 

  • Long Branch Saloon - Vampires is a musical battle that may have you joining the fight to defeat the evil. There’ll be horror, humour, music, dance routines and incredible tricks. 
  • La Cantina - Enjoy delicious Mexican food while listening to live singing and dancing to the rhythms of the Day of the Dead.
